I'M CHRIS PURDY

As an artist my earliest memories involve feeling a sense of awe in the natural environment and my goal is to translate that experience through modern photographic tools. My 30 year photographic career has taken me across continents and oceans, and I have constantly evolved my artistic technique to match the diversity of landscapes I encounter. I want to document, interpret, and protect the places and memories that keep our creative nature alive.

I live in Napa, California with my family and enjoy creating a visual blog of the diversity that is around me. The landscape feeds me in so many ways, I hope to see my work filling large spaces to transport the landscape and enliven the places it occupies.
